"My dog Ouzo and my legally permitted and licensed non releasable raccoon, who I’ve raised since he was a baby.
This video shows my raccoon bonding with and “raising” Ouzo from the time he was just an 8-week-old puppy at our home.
Shortly after I brought Ouzo home as a puppy, Rooster (AKA Chachi) immediately fell in love and raised him as his own.
Chachi was about a year old at the time and immediately took to Ouzo grooming him, playing gently, and staying close to him like a protective older sibling. It was incredible to watch him naturally step into that nurturing role." Credit: Lakedra's Chance Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education
