"We’re a family from Germany traveling through Costa Rica for 3 weeks. My husband, who appears briefly in the video, and our two daughters. On the evening of March 27 we just wanted to go out for dinner. The Koki Beach Restaurant caught our eye, so we sat down there and enjoyed a leisurely meal. We were almost finished eating when the sloth came shuffling in from the kitchen. I saw it out of the corner of my eye, and then the waiter pointed it out to us. A commotion quickly broke out in the restaurant, many people pulled out their phones to film. I could hardly believe my eyes. The situation seemed so absurd because the sloth strolled in so naturally and unconcerned. It was a unique experience." Credit: Lubbylicious
