"This is the funny moment that a cat in China kept failing to open its litter box after using it, repeatedly trapping itself inside. On May 28, 2025, in Sichuan, China, the video showed a cat that had finished its business in the litter box and then attempted to push open the hinged lid with its paw. Each time the cat managed to lift the cover slightly, it fell shut again before it could get out, forcing the cat to try over and over with increasing urgency. The cat’s persistent but clumsy efforts amused viewers, as its paws batted at the stubborn lid and its head occasionally peeked out before being shut in once more. The video ended with the cat finally pushing the lid wide enough to slip out of the litter box."
