"On September 14, 2025, in Luzhou, located in southwestern China’s Sichuan province, a video showed a playful scene at Southwest Medical University. A teacher was lecturing while holding a teaching pointer in hand. A cat that had entered the classroom became very interested in the pointer. It jumped and chased it around, forcing the teacher to dodge. Netizens in China joked that no one knew what the teacher was lecturing about because everyone focused on the cat. Some wondered how the animal got into the classroom."
