"Dandelion, a 3-year-old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi, loves to retrieve flopping toys from the pool but his body is not made for swimming. With no legs and no tail, and a fluffy butt that traps air, he tends to lose stability when making turns and ends up rolling like a gas station hotdog. He recently learned how to safely swim without rolling but we were at a party and, in his excitement, he forgot everything he learned–but he was desperate to swim! We put his life vest on to help him have fun, but he rolls even worse with it on. We were able to implement a simple, effective, and hilarious solution to the problem. He remembered how to swim without rolling before the end of the party."
