"We decided to burn an extremely large tree located on our property in Natchitoches, LA. This tree was well over 100 years old but died approximately 4 years ago and was becoming a safety hazard. The base of the tree was approximately 60" in diameter and due to the condition of the dead tree, it could not be cut down safely. We piled a large amount of tree debris around the base of the tree, but when we lit the fire, the tree itself went up like a match! It only took 2 minutes from the time we lit the fire, for the entire tree to become completely engulfed in flames. It was an amazing experience."
