"I saw a herd of black-tailed deer gathering in the front yard of a house in my neighborhood. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 31 years and have never seen deer quite like this. They are usually running across the road or scurrying around the outskirts of this area. It’s been a very dry winter so they are probably going outside their safe zones, like arroyos, looking for water and food."
