"On a sunny day, we went to a glacier to practice some skills. As I'm in the beginning of my mountaineering journey, we chose a fairly easy glacier. I made a few key mistakes on a particular section when going down and ended up sliding down toward an icy river. In the middle of the slide, my crampon got caught behind a lump of ice and my body and motion changed direction down an even steeper slide. In the end, I was saved by some rocks that stopped me before I ended up in the water. I had a lot of luck to not break anything. I was not hurt in any way, shape, or form. Looks really spectacular though."
