One-legged Birds in Florida

Occurred on January 22, 2025 / Destin, Florida, USA

"I love to take video recordings of the ocean. I usually take sunset recordings almost every day. That particular day was around 25F, which is VERY cold for the Florida Panhandle. We had around 7 inches of snow the day before. My kids wanted to build a snowman at the beach. We were walking along the shore, and I noticed a group of sandpipers standing on one leg. I have never seen them doing that. I decided to make a couple of video recordings and post them on TikTok."
