People watch a tornado touch down from the cliffs overlooking Council Bluffs, IA.

"After the power blinking off and the sirens going off, my husband and I jumped in the car to see if we could see the tornado. We went up to the Lewis and Clark Monument Park on the bluffs overlooking Council Bluffs Iowa and Eppley Airfield and found we were not the only ones with the same idea. Over 10 others were there and we shared the amazement of the experience that unfolded by seeing the storm gather speed and touch down on to the airfield. After it dissipated back up, the winds and rain picked up where we were and ran to cover."
