"Blanche is a Gloucestershire Old Spot sow who is a fabulous mom to her piglets. She is 3 years old and was born at Red Boat Farm. This litter of piglets was a summer litter, so keeping cool in Alabama is a must. In the video, Blanche had just finished her breakfast, nursed her piglets, and then took them to a wallow ( a muddy area where pigs keep cool). FYI, pigs do not sweat therefore mud is imperative for them to keep cool when the weather is heats up."
