Occurred on October 2, 2023 / Duvernay, Alberta, Canada

"We were on our way home on Monday, October 2, 2023, heading east on Highway 29, west of Duvernay, and passed a farmer's field with a large lake. There, a huge flock of migrating snow geese and some Canada geese were gathering on their migration to the southeast states. The dark brooding clouds in the background were a great contrast to the shiny golden stubble. We pulled over to watch them… mesmerizing… as they floated in large circling orbits."
