"My boyfriend and I went volcano hiking in Guatemala on August 27, 2023. We were hoping to catch a glimpse of the Volcan de Fuego from Acatenango. During dinner, my boyfriend spotted some lightning, so we all rushed outside to see. It was pitch dark at first, but when everyone else went back inside, I stuck around and saw an incredible lightning show. I started recording on my phone, and soon everyone else joined in. It lasted for about 30 minutes, and I couldn't believe my luck! Our guide said it was a rare sight. Credit: @natimilner."
