"Sweet Pea, the little white kitten, showed up out of the blue one day in early November. He was skinny and wary, but quickly stole my heart. He was tiny, but showed no fear of my two horses, Cinderella and Cappy. Sadly, we lost Cappy on Christmas morning, so Cinder was all alone. I came home one day in January, and found Sweet Pea on Cinder's back. They are the best of friends, helping each other heal." Credit: Kristine E. Brickey
