"My daughter found a dog crate tray on our porch that was filled with water from rain the night before. It was a chilly November day, but sunny, so we went outside — trying to savor every bit of sunshine we could until wintertime. She grabbed her small lawn chair and carried it over to the puddle. I was watching from afar as she situated her chair perfectly in the puddle. I started to chuckle to myself and that’s when I pulled out my camera. She sat down, “Ahhhhh” she said with a smile, lifting her face to the sun. I asked what she was doing and she replied, “I’m sitting in the pool.” I laughed out loud. A summer girl like her mama. Making the best of what we had on a chilly day."
