"Each year on the 4th of July the small town of Glacier View in Alaska puts on their annual Glacier View Car Launch – this year my husband and I visited for the first time and were amazed at the festivities. Where else can you watch cars getting launched off (no one inside) a 300 ft cliff? Plus, it's too bright for fireworks."

Crowd is spectating from a safe distance, there are no people in the cars, and a dedicated cleanup crew works to restore the landing area after the event.
