"My younger daughter is starting club volleyball in November, and her older sister has been helping her practice to get ready. We were practicing indoors because we have a big open space inside and it’s cooler than outside. Normally, I move all the breakable things out of the way, but this time I trusted their volleyball skills and didn’t worry about the vase. Of course, that trust backfired. The ball flew too high and smashed my favorite vase."
